TextBack App is operated by Leverage Ventures LLC. We provide automated SMS response software for trade businesses (“the Service”). Our website is textbackapp.com.

What data we collect

From business owners (our customers):

• Name, email address, and password via account registration
• Business name, type, phone number, and business hours
• Payment information (processed by Stripe — we never store card details)
• Average job value and close rate (used to calculate ROI estimates)

From end users (callers who contact our customers' businesses):

• Phone number (received automatically when a call is forwarded to our system)
• SMS message content sent in reply to automated messages

How we use your data

We use the data we collect to:

• Provide and operate the TextBack App service
• Send automated SMS messages on behalf of our business customers
• Calculate and display monthly ROI estimates to business owners
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Send transactional emails (receipts, service notifications)

Who we share data with

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.

We share data only with the following service providers who help us operate the Service:

• Twilio — SMS and voice infrastructure
• Stripe — payment processing
• Convex — database infrastructure
• Clerk — authentication
• OpenAI — AI message generation
• Resend — transactional email

Each provider processes data only as necessary to provide their service and is bound by their own privacy policies.

SMS messaging

End users (callers) receive SMS messages because they initiated contact by calling a business that uses TextBack App. By calling a TextBack-enabled business number, callers may receive an automated SMS reply from that business.

To opt out of SMS messages from a TextBack-enabled business, reply STOP to any message. To request help, reply HELP.

Message and data rates may apply.

Data retention

We retain business account data for as long as the account is active. Upon account cancellation, data is deleted within 90 days. SMS message logs are retained for 12 months.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@textbackapp.com.

Cookies

We use essential cookies only — for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify customers of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
